Southampton have lost, Leicester have city and Forest have Utd this weekend. We aren’t being drawn closer to the bottom. yes some teams have distanced themselves today but as long as we avoid the bottoms three we are safe.
Valid points however our form has just taken on a full nosedive having been in the ascendant just prior to that.

Every indicator is screaming relegation. And each of those three rivals will smell blood. Prepare yourself for what’s coming.

Wouldn’t you like to think majority of this lot now will be off once relegation is confirmed?

Chance to rebuild.
Maybe mate. But if they ain’t got relegation clauses in their contracts we could be stuck with them. Who’s going to pay money to sign these jokers who are all in big money.

Also I wouldn’t trust us to sign the right players

Mykolenko, Godfrey, Gray, Maupay, Keane, Iwobi.

These are not Premier League players, yet ALL of them are starting games for Everton, most of them week in, week out.

Can't share that viewpoint, factual as it is. We are not being drawn closer (yet), but if you are being thrashed at home to Fulham, it's very hard to see where the character is that will get us points away from home or at home to Man City and Newcastle.

I think we have to accept that today is a signpost result that is firmly pointing in the direction of the Championship. In other words, we do not have the character to save ourselves. Whether we will need to depends on other clubs, but that's not an acceptable position for me. We deserve our fate now, if we do finally drop.

The worrying thing is is that I couldn't see any of those lads doing a job in the Championship. So how on earth do we avoid relegation to the third tier next season?
