I know. But they have some winnable games and threy can score.

I feel right now that we've hit the buffers at just the wrong time and we dont know when Onana and Coleman will be back, and of course we still have the influential Doucoure out another game.

This is the first time since Dyche arrived I think we're in danger of relegation.

There may be a few twists and turns left, but the manner of the last two defeats have shook me and I dont see us turning this around anytime soon.

Today was a must win. Our easiest fixture. I have calmed down a little bit. To survive we will now have to win an unexpected game. On the positive side I would expect to see possibly Douc, Coleman, Onana and maybe even DCL back by the Newcastle game

My honest opinion right now is that we have much less than a 50/50 chance of surviving.

An unexpected win might change that but I'm a bit forlorn with this now. I expected a difficult game today, but getting back to 1-1 we should never have lost.

Even a point would have been a decent outcome. But we showed no character.

That was a terrible performance and one that you see from nailed on relegated teams.

This is the worst I've felt all season. It feels huge this loss.

What annoyed me today was seeing clever recruitment give another team a cutting edge, Willian - free, Pereira - 10 mill - Robinson ex of our academy, how much have we spent and we dont have a player who can stand on the ball, or a quality fit full back.

I hope Thelwell is making strategic provisions for our possible promotion campaign next season. I'm really not joking. It can't hurt, can it? The work must start now. We need to be a step ahead. He needs to identify the finest up-and-coming talent in the Championship. We will need aggression and pace. The current crop may get dragged into league one!

We have to hope that the morale in their camp is worse than ours … and in forests. Given the terrible runs they are on this is not inconceivable to hope.
