If we were 2 or 3 nil down to a top team, we would fold. West Ham and Leicester have played really well and both probably deserved more than they’ve got (so far).

That is why I think those two will stay up. That sort of fight (combined with the obvious quality they have) isn’t usually found in the teams at the bottom.

Leeds and Forest are the two we’ll be fighting with. Any 2 from those 3 will go with Saints in my opinion.
 
The thought of "Ohh Everton are too big a club to go down" among our fanbase and pundits should be buried by now.

Every team below us has a chance of winnings against our toothless squad that for the past decade has been more focused on accumulating defenders and someone who can put one or two tackles in over creativity and attacking mindset.

If Thelwell has half a brain he should have already planned how to bin the fat in this squad l. The likes of Maupay, Davies, Holgate, Mina, Mykolenko. Remaining likes of Onana, Docoure, DCL, Gana, Pickford should be sold or loaned out.

Recruitment since Thelwell has been in has been in the main poor again, I`d be looking to bin him and get someone who actually knows what they are doing......

We’ve had 3 DoFs, two stepping into a role they haven’t done before, the other was experienced but it’s no good having one if there’s an underlying sense that the madcap owner or luvvie chairman won’t get involved

Thelwell spent what money we had on Maupay thinking he would be an adequate player for us and in the next window failed to recruit a suitable striker..... Thelwell should not go without criticism because he has contributed to where we are....
