The worst thing from our POV is we are going to be playing nearly all the time after most other teams have played over the comming weeks, so we will know what we may need to do,

Will they? They haven’t been up for it all season and half of the players are gone or want out at the end of this season anyway. I wouldn’t be so sure
It’s against their direct relegation rival, and a game in which if they win, they will probably be safe and we will probably be sunk. Yes, they’ll be up for it and they’ll destroy our team of cowards.

I'm more confident of us getting something under Dyche than with Lampard.
We will need doucoure back, need Coleman back and we will need Onana back. The drop off from those three to the others just too big.

Where I stand now is that If we can get our first eleven on the pitch (not including DCL) for the last set of games then we have a fighting chance. If we don’t - as shown yesterday - then we are buggered. In the finishing straight now and it’s going to be arduous.

Looks like five teams really in it at this point. Still think Southampton and Forest are nailed on, so it’s between us, Leicester, and Leeds for that last spot.

I think this coming week will tell us what to expect. Leeds have the RS on Monday and at Fulham on Friday, while Leicester have Wolves at home with us going to Palace. If we somehow are still sitting outside the bottom three after that (and at least within a point or two of Leeds) then things will look promising for us to still have a shot.

Even still, it’s really starting to look like we will need to beat Leicester to save ourselves. At the very least, we absolutely cannot under any circumstances lose that one. Otherwise our last remaining hope would be Leeds just utterly collapsing and getting almost nothing from here on out.
