Never rely on other teams to do what we can't.
Spot on. While we all want results to go our way to make things easier, we can't be so naive to believe that other teams will not pick up points.

Put simply, we need to win more games than others; we need to get more points than our opponents. If we can't do that, well we'll go down as that's it.

The league table is based on amassing more points than others.

I know its only half time, 5 points behind Forest and they have Southampton at home coming up....

Losing at Leicester basically means relegation (if Forest hold on).

You're basically then got 4 games to overtake two teams who have 4-5 point lead. First two of those will likely be lost aswell.

West Ham are getting drawn back into this given their next two are v the Manchester clubs. West Ham-Leeds is on the penultimate weekend.

And you deserve pelters for the last part.

Imagine telling an 8 year old why we are playing in a league below when his Kopite mates are leathering him or her.

We don't care what the red side say !

Liverpool will always be above us - like Man Utd, Man City etc. the chance of us joining the elite went when FFP was introduced and the rules are getting even more anti competitive as we speak.

If you're arl enough to have seen us win league titles and FA Cups you're fortunate as those days are long gone for clubs like us.

Forest and lucky to be playing one of the few teams with nothing to play for apart from a bit of home pride.
Personally dont buy into the "Nothing to play for" stuff no matter who it is, any self respecting player which is probably not many should be aiming to win all the time no matter what the result means in terms of where it gets you in the table, they still have a little chance of Euro - we will have people saying we will win at Wolves and v Bournemouth for example saying we have a chance because they will be playing for nothing etc
