Will they now, Danny Gabbidon? That’s why you’re paid the big bucks, for insight like that.

They haven’t played at the second tier for 4 years, they’ve had a freak season in winning promotion as they’ve had 2 11th place finishes with a 9th in between
Disagree with you about being a freak season mate, since McKenna joined they’ve been best team in League One, they went something like 9 games without conceding recently.

But anyway I don’t wanna sidetrack from the thread - back on topic, we are crap.

I can see us getting a draw v Leicester. But not sure if that is good enough because Brighton, Man City look impossible. We can beat Bournemouth though . Is wolves away? Then perhaps a point. 5 pts.

Sorry that I won’t write the Everton obituary yet with us 2 points from safety and 5 games left with 3 of them v bottom half teams.

It’s absolutely not beyond us to have a counterpunch in this run in. Everyone in football has been laughing at us for weeks, they’ve all labelled us as certs to go down, a nasty faction on this forum are revelling in it, but I wouldn’t put it past us at all to still have a few rolls of the dice left and come out on the right side of this.

The absolute state of some of you on here. Practically giddy at the thought of our relegation chances increasing and then, when one of our main rivals loses from a winning position and picks up some key injuries, all you can do is hammer home how crap we are and won’t ever score again.

WTF is wrong with some of you. Sorry the club you support didn’t increase their chances of getting relegated this afternoon.

We will probably have a worse goal difference than Forest after those two

Bournemouth on the last day could end up being what bails us out. As much as I don’t want to be watching that game needing a result it’s clearly the most winnable game we have left.

They will be hungover from celebrating survival as it will almost certainly be mathematically impossible for them to go down by then.

I am still sticking to what ive said for weeks, that we will get safe, may be mental but unlike many i dont give up till its actually mathematically impossible, none of this we are down when we have same points as team above us, or down like a certain person said if we lost v Fulham or we were still down if we won that very same game lol

We don’t need to play well even.

two lucky results maybe. A 1-0 where it goes in off McNeil’s cock and hang on for 90 minutes.

why not us?
