One game at a time is good to enjoy the last game but we have to react to the other games this week. Would love a draw at city if the other teams get beat aswell could be massive and put more pressure on the rest. I cant relax untill it is done

When you look at the table you realise how big a win that was, a loss yesterday and we would be 4 adrift of Forest, second bottom going into the City game. Gigantic win.

Humongous performance and win.

It’s the first time in a long time an Everton side turned up and performed when it really mattered - second half versus palace last season the other.

Hopefully the lads can take heart from it and give city a game and if they have one eye on Madrid second leg then we’ve got a change of doing bits.

Agree with this. Tight match, no subs - the Mystic Meg in me thinks he is keeping the same players for the return home leg…..making no changes surely he means he goes with a vastly changed side e.g. Marhrez, Foden, Alvarez etc for Goodison. They will still be vastly superior of course but it mean he can adjust his tactics to suit accordingly
