….I expect Leeds to be different under Allardyce. That already seemed obvious in the City defeat, they looked much more defensive and less gung-ho. After a weeks training I think they’ll be better organised defensively. Their problem will be if Newcastle score first.

Teams are fighting for their lives, so it’s more difficult to predict results. Logic suggests Newcastle win, it’s good that this game also matters to them but the outcome is unpredictable. Nervous time.

Urgh not liking this cockiness from some in here now. Guarentee if you went on other clubs forums it would have all been Everton wont get a point at Brighton.
id say the only thing you can guarentee is all these games will not go as expected. Theres 12 games in total for 4 clubs, there wont be 12 expected results.
I'm not feeling cocky, I've been saying we'll stay up for weeks. Admittedly it took a while for SD to drop Keane (I wonder how the system would have worked if he had played instead of Mina?) but it was my positive mental attitude along with faith in the players.

Its wins that are gold dust at this point.

Allardyce is good at making teams hard to beat but the usefulness of that is earlier in the season when you can accumulate points here and there and nick the odd win.

Its straight shoot-out now and we hit the jackpot on Monday in that respect.

Not saying Leeds can't do it but they probably can't draw their way to safety either.

Like us, now is the time to stand up and earn the right, by winning at least once.

2 at home as well mate.

Firmly in the silly season now. Desperate teams recording infeasible results from nowhere, happens every season. Given City had a tough game yesterday, mentally and physically, and will have their eyes firmly on the home leg next Wednesday it would not surprise me one bit if we got a result on Sunday

Glad to know our board isn't the only one doing brazenly stupid things.
What would Everton do?

Hopefully not even this stoopid.
