Yup, in snooker parlance there is one red left and we have a 16-point lead. So we need to be putting the
green on the cushion... A safety battle if ever there was one.

I will gladly take a defeat for us on Sunday if the others lose too. Games running out suits us. We don't need to break the status quo. Leicester and Leeds do.

My instinct tells me we'll need 2 points to stay up now. I think we can get them in the last 2 games.

Obvioulsy we want a point or three from City, but 4 losses this weekend / Monday for those clubs concerned in this relegation scrap and we'd start to see the finishing tape.

I think you're right - 2 points may well end up being enough, but I'd feel a lot better with 4

Moyes is a big beliver in momentum building. I don't think he will want his players down in the dumps and out of form for Europe. He will see those games as decent confidence builders

As far as I am concerned if we go into Tuesday next week at worst level on points with 18th place, we'll ought to be ok. Our remaining two fixtures simply have to produce at least a point more than any of those we're fighting against. I hope we're still at least two points clear though, and we may be, fingers crossed.
