I'm not convinced by Newcastle at all. Hopeful they'll win it, but not confident. They have rocked up here thinking they only had to show their face. Not been a great 40 minutes or so from a side that, on paper and in the table, are so superior.

They're still in control, just need to tidy up their positions when they lose the ball. Can see them getting a couple in second half.

Leeds just blew it with the penalty miss and deep down they know it.

Newcastle did really well there.

The momentum Leeds and the crowd had after going 1-0 up was huge.

The inconsistency of refs is pathetic. This is the fat lump that dishing out yellow cards to us like candy last week at Brighton. Leeds should have had a couple of yellows easily.

I am a nervous wreck lol - i actually said when it was 1-0 and before Leeds Pen, i bet the Toon get a pen and miss it the way the game was going and the way they were playing - lucky that Toon pen has changed the game so far

Point isn't terrible for Leeds. They'll obviously be targeting a win from West Ham and at least a draw v Spurs so they'll be looking as 35 points still being a realistic target. That forces them Leicester to match that and Forest to win a game.

Of course the opportunity was there to win this game and simplify things. Simply can't afford to miss penalties in tight relegation battles.

I’ve seen countless people hungover on Sunday morning score goals like that, it’s really not that difficult to lob the keeper from there completely unchallenged. The only thing missing was him puking by the corner flag for his celebration. He’s scored more goals than he ever has before this season (in a competitive league) so let’s not pretend he’s been consistently magnificent for years, he hasn’t.
