Years of pessimism is still driving us to think we’re going to lose our last 3 whilst Leeds and Leicester are somehow going to get 4-6 points each.
Our last 2 opponents- Wolves and Bournemouth- didn’t have a shot on target between them today in their respective games. I’d much rather have them as our last 2 fixtures then any of the others in the relegation mix.
That’s because they weren’t playing us 😂

Isn’t that also us vs Wolves and Bournemouth??

I try not to get too over the top, as I can get carried away, but do find some of the pessimism a bit ludicrous. I appreciate it comes from nerves/anxiety.

But we have the best final 2 games by far. I wouldnt swap them for any of the others.

Wolves and Bournemouth are poor teams, out of form who have nothing to play for.

I'd rather them than West Ham, who's manager is fighting for his life, has a soft spor for us, and players still concentrating as they have a potential European final. They also have a better team. Or Palace, who are on a good run as well. Or Spurs, who are a better team, and will want to avoid the conference league.

We can still mess those games up. And last season we did, we messed up Watford away/Bournemouth home, so it's not cut and dried, and we remain a poor team.

But I'd rather be in our position, with those 2, and a bit of a free hit tomorrow.

City are a lay tomorrow. As long as you’re not getting trousered at half time then I think you won’t lose. They’ll want to win the game in the first half so they can play powder puff keep ball in the 2nd, but if they’re not ahead at HT Guardiola might decide a point’s not so bad….

Its interesting you say that, as a neutral. The longer we stay in the game the better. It's our hardest fixture, but we have as much chance as we did against Brighton last week.
