Aside from Southampton, I don’t think you could pick two teams more desperate for the end of the league season than West Ham and Spurs (for different reasons).

Wolves have won their last 4 home games. They are very tough there. And Bournemouth have surprised everyone all season, O’Neill might be manager of the year.
Good point re. Wolves

We are definitely 2nd favourites in that match

We are that poor that is even suggest a win against Bournemouth may be beyond us

That Bournemouth game has Coventry 98 vibes about it, home to a bottom half team with nothing to play for, expected to win and we couldn’t even do that, we got safe by the skin of our teeth. That final day is going to be terrifying. It’s going to be a grim few weeks am afraid.
It will be a hard day, but this is a better team than the 98 one. Take Duncan out of that 98 team and they are league 2 standard.

Yeah I edited my post to say “as long as Leicester don’t get a point”, but you were too fast for me before you got your reply in 😂.

In a bizarre way I’m half thinking it may actually be a better result for Everton if Leicester do get a draw tomorrow against Liverpool, rather than lose. Sounds crazy, but it’ll keep West Ham “honest” for their penultimate game of the season at home against Leeds on Sunday, as West Ham will know that a defeat against Leeds could mean they could go into the last game of the season against Leicester still not totally safe. I’m thinking about a Leicester draw tomorrow as a bit of an insurance policy!

If Leicester lose tomorrow, on one hand that’s great for us, but then West Ham will know that baring a huge GD swing, then they are practically safe, and God knows what sort of team they’ll put out against Leeds in that situation
Yup, I'd be happy enough with a Leicester draw. But the key for me is to get ahead of Forest. I doubt both Leeds and Leicester will get above us, but one of them might. Forest is the insurance policy.

Yeah, I'd still obviously prefer a red win to not give Leicester any hope but keeping West Ham honest against Leeds, given we likely need to finish ahead of both, means a draw is OK for us too. Anything other than a Leicester win and we've had an OK weekend really.

we need liverpool to win

If Leicester win tomorrow I think it's over.

It isn’t over, even if they lose it will still go to the final day.

I expect we will get 2-3 points from our remaining 2 games. I have no idea if that will be enough as I think Leicester and Leeds both have 4 points in them.

This is why I think goal difference will be especially important.
