We are talking about 4 of the worst teams in the league who have all won about 7 or 8 max games out of the last 36. 4 points out of the final 2 games is a tall order for any of us. Biggest laugh is how many people are saying that Leeds will get 4 points because they now have Gravy in charge. They are still dreadful and have got 1 point out of the last 2 games.

It actually wouldn't even be a surprise if all 4 teams lost both games. Good chance someone is staying up on goal difference this season it is going to be that close.

I can easily see Leeds take all 3 points against West Ham on sunday. They will then know the results of us against wolves and forrest against Arsenal. If these results mean that West Ham are safe, they will most likely play their second team.

Nah, it's best for us to just win the two remaining games and forget about the other teams.
De Gea throwing that one in for West Ham was a right kick in the nuts.

No one can even predict one game so I’m not sure why anyone sit dying to predict 8. We just have to play as well as possible in the last two games and see where it leaves us at the end of the season.
And then as by magic the shopkeeper appeared...

That does not matter. They got the win, whatever the reason. If Brighton had played as well as they did today, we wouldn’t have won. But they didn’t and we did, thankfully.

Forest went to Chelsea and got a 2-2. They got a draw off Man City and beat Brighton comfortably. We did the same (and drew with them) so you could argue there isn’t really a huge difference between the two teams.
I said there's no way Forest would have beaten them full strength and at there place so convincngly the way we did - they needed Brighton at home and knackered to do so. Then I asked you if you thought that was right...

Title race may be over but if Forest draw to arsenal that would be impressive
It'd be impressive, but it wouldn't necessarily save them.

I cant stress too much how tough that final away game at Palace for them will be.

IMO Arsenal bounce back big time and demolish Forest and then Palace beat them.

Two more points will see us finish above Forest.

It’s an absolute disgrace for this club to be in this position with two games left.
Nobody is exonerated from blame.
The fact it is the second successive season we have faced this situation is unforgivable.
I believe we will survive.
But at the final whistle of the Bournemouth game I intend to vent my displeasure at what I see as 3decades of mismanagement culminating in a club that has become an absolute irrelevance.

They will be. Leeds can’t finish above them bar an unprecedented goal difference turn around. And unlikely that us, Forest and Leicester all have positive results next.

The danger is if we don't beat Wolves and then Leeds beat West Ham then we're relying on Leeds and Forest's results last day.

The goal difference is only 9 between West Ham and Leeds (8 effectively because of goals scored). Leeds win by 2 goals then it's 4 going into the last day. West Ham won't want to go into the last day not mathematically safe.
