To be honest probably everyone would have taken this position before we kicked a ball against Leicester. That was looking like a game where if we lost we’d be down.

If you’d said after that we’d have 3 points from Brighton and City

Leicester would have lost heavily to Fulham

Leeds would have 1 point from City and Newcastle

And we were still outside the relegation zone with two games to play

I think most would have taken that position if offered at that time. Forest picking up 4 points is annoying but we could very easily still be sat here on 28 points needing 2 wins to have any chance of staying up.

Teams around us have kept on handing us room to get clear.

Whats more, they will continue to do so because they're terrible.

We just need Leicester not to pick up 3 points tonight and we have positioned ourselves to get one win from two games. If we get one then I'd say we'd be pretty much safe. If offered I'd take one win right now and be prepared to hold tight and see if it was enough.

I know there are reasons for the 3pm blackout but it’s genuinely ridiculous that a game on the penultimate weekend of the world’s biggest league that could potentially alter the entire course of a club’s existence can only be viewed by fans of that club (other than a few thousand in the ground) via an illegal stream.
