Would feel a bit better if Forest were also below us but considering where we were it’s probably a better position than most thought we’d be.

Effectively we have to equal the points tally of Leicester and Leeds over 2 games to stay up and they both have harder fixtures on paper than we do. I’d have taken that scenario if it had been offered as Maddison stepped up to take the penalty with Leicester 2-1 up on us.

The bookies have sat there with their silly little computers and have got us at 3/1 HOW?

Bookies odds are worthless this time of the season. It only takes one result against what they expect and the odds completely change. We went from second favourites to staying up just by beating Brighton. If Leicester had won tonight we’d have been back as going down with the bookies. They’re now just reflecting the reality of recent results.

Well it is still in our own hands which is all you can ask for after being so rubbish for so long. And we have shown some signs -most of all Leicester and Brighton away- that we can play well occasionally. Let’s just pray they can get us over the line. A big day for manager, players and supporters alike on Saturday with the possibility that things fall massively into place in the next round of matches.
Keep believing!!!
Fight for us!!!
Come on you Blues!!!

If Newcastle get their scoring boots on against Leicester they could do themselves and us a favour. Liverpool could conceivably overtake them on points at the end.

7/2 and 4/1 also.

They have it like that because punters have taken into account our win against Brighton, our form away from home, the fact we're out of the bottom three, and other teams have less winnable games.

I wish both remaining games were away tbh.

The shoite done a massive tonight .
Keeps Newcastle on their toes , I take them to smash Leicester at home.
Isak & Wilson will be lickin their chops at the thought of the Foxes defending.

Dean Smith: "We were beaten by a team of supreme athletes and we were unfortunate they scored two fractionally onside goals".

I mean, FFS, how do you get a pair of boots on and go and play for that nobhead?
Leicester look like their race is well and truly run. If you are in must win territory, you don’t want an away game at third place next up.

Nice to be in a position were safety is not just in our hands but a scenario also exists where we could possibly even get safe this weekend if we win and Leeds and Leicester lose. Would be boss to go into that last game safe and let the board know how much we value their efforts and performance.
