Bookies odds are worthless this time of the season. It only takes one result against what they expect and the odds completely change. We went from second favourites to staying up just by beating Brighton. If Leicester had won tonight we’d have been back as going down with the bookies. They’re now just reflecting the reality of recent results.

Well it is still in our own hands which is all you can ask for after being so rubbish for so long. And we have shown some signs -most of all Leicester and Brighton away- that we can play well occasionally. Let’s just pray they can get us over the line. If Newcastle get their scoring boots on against Leicester they could do themselves and us a favour. Liverpool could conceivably overtake them on points at the end.
