Rodgers just has a shelf life.

If we had a board who could plan to support him for 2-3 years and then plan for his quick demise then I’d have no quarrels with having Rodgers. Liverpool did great, quickly unravelled and had Klopp as their main target. Leicester banker on him turning it round, it didn’t work.

He’s the biggest ego in football, a complete sociopath, but I’d give anything for a trophy.
We should have hired him a few season's back.

Problem with modern football.

For Youri Tielemans, when he gets a move to a European club in the summer on a free transfer, do you think he’ll be arsed about whether Leicester went down? Of course not.

Same applies to half their out of contract players and probably the same for ours.

They actually made money on signings, and signed no one, we spurned £500m on absolutely trash. Both equally poor sides, the only thing keeping us alive is that we’re showing a bit of fight.
I see our players digging in, same for forest and Leeds regardless of if they are good enough. That Leicester team is a proper pack of cowards, you are spit regards then thinking about the next club rather than saving this one. They never really came to terms with the fact they are in a relegation fight.

Similarly, Allardyce’s first 6 games as West Brom manager went PW1 D1 L4, including
3-0, 4-0 and 5-0 losses.

Leeds aren’t as poor as West Brom, and I’m very worried about them, but depends how much you trust us. If you can see us picking up 4 points, do you see Allardyce winning the final 2?

The bigger question for me isn't Leeds - if we get 4 points, can you see Forest beating either Arsenal or Palace at Selhurst Park?

I think Leeds are a really unknown quantity right now - they came away with a fair bit of credit in defeat at City, they were arguably the better side against 3rd place Newcastle last time out as well. To my mind, despite how poor they'd been prior to Allardyce, you can see a change in them. They don't look beaten like Leicester do. Given the fixtures they've got, I can see a scenario where they get two wins if they continue that momentum. Granted, you'd probably get decent odds on that right now, but they worry me a bit.

Forest, on the other hand, I could see us catch even with just a win.

It's obvious and no doubt has been pointed out before.
In our last two games we just have to equal the results of Leeds and Leicester.
Bettering their results would be a bonus

Very little tbh. We're a bit kamikaze in pressure games. Even palace last year. Atrocious first half. Brilliant second half. Eventually you'll get found out and trapped.
Heres to another escape.

We should have hired him a few season's back.

Probable is we didn’t have the funds to back him.

Did it with Leicester, what a job, but if Leicester had the dough, they should have parted last season. Every Leicester fan I know said similar and I was astounded, now? Completely get it.

Would have done anything for a trophy and he’s got reckon for being solid but as o said for a short period.

He can come here if he gets us 5th place finishes and a trophy.

He's very decent manager. Not great, but very competent when driven and backed with cash.
I don't want him for the obvious reasons and connections but in reality he was always decent when given resources. But then, that's expected for a manager really. He always leaves on a very low note though, in England at least.

They aren’t up for the fight, I remember Newcastle going down in Like 2008, and they had a side full of players who almost expected midtable and couldn’t get going when it mattered.

It’s how I see Leicester, think they’re better than what they are, have been cruising for weeks and when it matters they can’t get going at all.

Great for us, that’s what matters.

I’m hoping Bournemouth really do get on the beach. We’re terrible at home, absolutely terrible, even with Dyche, I think we’ve now lost 4 out of the last 5 home games haven’t we? (Checked 4 out of 6, and a 90th minute equaliser).

Got to hope we set up and get the win at wolves, because if we do stay up, I can’t be dealing with the morons on the pitch celebrating mediocrity.
