Problem in that statement is win next weekend...we don't do well against team like Bournemouth that has a lot of pace on their side.

They have lost intensity since they confirmed survival, three losses in a row v Chelsea, Palace and Man. United and only one goal in that so much better playing them now than six weeks back.

It's a far better final day game than playing a Villa, Newcastle or Brighton at least. And it's at home so need to be at them first 20 minutes and see what their mentality is like.

Once Wolves went infront they were largely content to pass the ball around rather than really go for the second so I doubt Bournemouth will be much different.

Huge potential point. Looks like the football Gods are against us with those injuries.

We have to beat Bournemouth. Not sure that we have the fit personnel to do it but we have a chance if we show the same level of fight and commitment as they did today.

Keep a clean sheet and win the game on the set piece is the formula here, Bournemouth conceded loads all season from them especially in last 20 minutes.

If Forest, Leeds and Leicester all lose then it's looking a lot better for us. A draw next week surely won't be enough, but a win (regardless of other results) surely would be.

We just have throw everything at them next week, it's win or disaster.

i guarantee you every leeds fan was thinking oh we can get a point at west ham now and be fine

guarantee you

they will be gutted

their players will be gutted

their manager will be gutted
Spot on, have already seen Leeds fans saying exactly that on one of their forums. That vital goal and point has turned them into now saying they need to win both games. The psychological effect of the point alone has big ramifications.

Does anyone actually have any faith in this shower getting a win against Bournemouth. I don’t mean, hoping we win, or not believing we could actually lose at home to a mediocre team with nothing to play to keep us in the top flight, I mean actually believe we are going to win. I certainly don’t.
might be one for the fans to get these charlatans over the finishing line and to put the bournemouth players in fear mode

Still hugely reliant on a possibly knackered West Ham bare minimum getting a point tomorrow.

And then, of course, the fact we are garbage and have repeatedly failed against mediocre opposition.

But, its a huge lifeline.

Leicester are worse than Everton, and have to make up 3 points. They’re down I reckon.

We’re a point behind Forrest and have a better GD than them. Hopefully Arsenal beat them this evening, then they are away to Palace for the last game.
Leicester can draw level on points with us, and i think they have a better GD as well, but hopefully your prediction comes to pass.

We've just gotta hope that Moyesie does us a favour tomorrow now!
