A lad in work is a West Ham fan and he reckons they’ll be right up for it tomorrow. They hate Leeds but despise Allardyce.

Not really if the other teams below us win their games in hand. Unlikely but definitley out of our hands until Leeds and Leicester play.

Was hoping I'd have a decent sleep tonight but I'm giving up any hope of that for the next week.

Unfortunately not. 2 wins by either Leicester or Leeds and we go down even if we win and end with 36 points.

Leeds can potentially get 6 points, we can potentially get 3. It’s not in our hands currently, it might be on Monday night.

Can someone less emotional explain what a point today means please. Does it actually change anything?

Of course. It means:

If Forest lose here we finish above them if we better their result next week (on goal difference if they lose and we draw, on points if they draw and we win ASSUMING that they lose tonight).

If Leeds don't beat West Ham, they need to win and we need to lose for them to finish ahead of us.

Assuming Newcastle beat Leicester, they have to win and we have to lose final day for Leicester to finish ahead of us. If we hadn't have scored that goal we'd have needed a win if Leicester take 3 more points.

It's looking likely it won't be in our hands now West Ham are safe. We just need Leicester and Forest to not win and that will give us a fair chance still.

The biggest thing our late equaliser did is moving the draw in all the other games from a bad result for us to an OK one.
