I think we’ve run out of rope y’know.

This is on the board for leaving us with such a brittle squad
Yes, it’s mainly been about the striker, although we did have 2 on the bench, but the absolute state of the lineup we had at the end of todays match is completely disgusting for a PL team. Even the poorest newly promoted sides would be able to put some decent pacey youngsters on in the positions they are used to actually playing.

Defenders up front, best midfielder wing back, highest scorer left back, and then there’s Maupay.

Not a huge fan of “luck” as a concept, but we could quite easily have been 2 nil up and Wolves going down to 10 men today. Mixture of fine margins and us being really really bad at everything.

If we stay out of the relegation zone after Monday night then we'll stand a great chance of survival.

In effect it'll be after tomorrow's game for Leeds as Leicester look like lambs to the slaughter up there in Newcastle. If they fail to win we'll have a big advantage next Sunday: in our own hands.

Isn't that where we wanted to be final day if we couldn't get safe? Have the final game to get a win against B'mouth at home?

We talked about surprise results which seemed to be heavily discounted by other ‘know it all’ posters. We had the first one of the run in with the win at Brighton and the second one has come today with Forest. It really pisses me off when other posters jus5 casually assume results and accuse other posters of pissing their beds. Absolute dickheads.
The Super Blues who like to mock any poster who remotely doubts we will stay up, repeat the same tiresome jokes (about Leeds, bedwetting, Big Sam Genius), and you can guarantee they’ll claim they knew what was gonna happen this time next Sunday (I knew we’d stay up or it was obvious we were down after Fulham etc.) zzz

Did you read the first seven words of my post? I Don’t want us to get relegated…..I was saying I am just fatigued by the constant desire to stay and just exist in the PL. I don’t know about you but I have an ego, and like to think that if I can’t win things I’d be competitive - we are simply not competitive and it’s embarrassing. I am not sure it is possibly to reset in the PL when the fear of losing PL status is paramount. It means constantly safe, unambitious decisions being made which end up killing us anyway.
Your first seven words were:
I
Don't
Want
to
Stay
Up,
If

Now that I agree with, but it’s a big IF….we’ve just got to hope (it’s the Leeds game I’m concerned about)

As Arsenal showed today. Its not leeds that worry me. Its the opposition. Spurs cant wait for the season to end. They've been showing that sign for about two months. Who knows what west ham side will be out there tomorrow.
