We need to win the last game now and not start thinking about the results of the other teams around us. We are on 33 points and nobody has stayed up on that or any less.

This has been by far my worse ever season following this team, and I am very sure I can speak for almost everyone here.

Once we get the points needed, a huge clearout and overhaul is needed. This club is rotten to the core and that walkout on our own soil during the Newcastle debacle was amongst the worse. I don't blame them for leaving, but it just summed up our season.

When and if we do stay up, I won't be celebrating like Forest did today, I will be just relieved.

Well done Forest, great win and overall definitely deserve another season.

Same to Bournemouth, another team we written off and pulled out massive wins.

Today, disjointed in parts, really gut wrenching injuries BUT fair play to the team, they stuck at it and earned a well earned point.

If we go down, it's not due to games like today, it's simply because we haven't been good enough in about 80% of the other games.

Good side Wolves, we stuck at it and I'm made up with a point all things considered.

Now, can the football gods help us again tomorrow and Monday? I don't know.

All I know is that we are still in with a shout, a fighting chance and I'll reiterate it again, if someone had offered me that after Newcastle sticking 4 past us, I'd have taken this scenario all day long.

If we go down, we'll deserve it. If we stay up, we'll have been done a favour by Leeds and Leicester.

So, for the penultimate weekend of having to support other teams

come on your hammers!
Come on you horse punching scruffs!

last season newcastle beat leicester 2-1 last minute goal from bruno, leeds suprisingly beat west ham 3-2 with jack harrison bagging a hatrick

spurs beat leeds 4-0 away from home and leicester and west ham drew 2-2 with craig dawson scoring a last minute equaliser

if leicester and leeds get the same results then leicester will finish on 31 and get relegated and leeds will finish on 34 points meaning that a singular point against bournemouth could be enough if our goal difference remains higher than leeds

We basically deserve to be where we are but it is a shame the fixtures have fallen the way they have end of season given that Forest came up against Arsenal on their knees, Leeds will play WHU who might be looking after themselves and a Spurs team that is missing in action. Hopefully somehow we can survive
We played wolves today and Bournemouth next week 2 teams with absolutely nothing to play for either
The league is 38 games. If you go then you absolutely deserve to go. No point making excuses

Honestly ask yourself are you willing to bet on them winning all remaining games and how much are you willing to bet.

It’s a highly unlikely scenario to be honest. I don’t ever remember 18 and 19 place team winning both remaining game in the history of EPL.
True, but i wouldn't be willing to bet on them, losing all their remaining games either! As i say hopefully we beat Bournemouth and everything works out fine!

To be honest that point doesn't really change much sadly its still with the gods really
To be fair, it really did and could, Leeds now need to win to get above us tomorrow which is not certain despite some acting like its 100% happening, where as before our goal, Leeds would have needed only a draw to get above us

Everything you've said here is spot on...but i reckon the position we find ourselves in could have been avoided so easily with a little bit of cute scouting and a gamble in Jan but that failure to get a forward in will cost us.
