Moyes wont lose today imo

Draw all over it

Winning keeps the momentum going until the cup final.

There`s no way that Moyes will have them putting their feet up for the last two games.

He may rest players, who`ve got little knocks or niggles or bring them off early.

It just isn`t Moyes style, to treat their last two games as friendlies.

People also seem to be conveniently forgetting the death threats, that Bamford and his family got after his penalty miss.

That`s going to do wonders for his own and the teams confidence isn`t it ????

Sounds like Wholesale changes to the West ham team like last week. Apparently moyes said he doesn't care what people think of him for doing it.
Should come as no surprise. Just because the final is a few weeks away doesn’t mean he won’t rest tired legs and manage his players in the remaining 2 PL fixtures. We can’t complain, Wolves made 6 changes themselves and we didn’t take advantage.

We don’t

But the complexion would change slightly if Leeds lost today. With the goal difference being better we could be in a scenario where we could draw with Bournemouth and Leeds might need to beat Spurs by a good few goals.

A draw today and we need to match Leeds result which apparently means we need to beat Bournemouth because they’re absolutely nailed on to win their last game according to some.

Yep that's where the late goal yesterday actually changed a fair bit with what Leeds have to do today.

Lose 1-0 and Leeds would've gone to 17th with a draw on goals scored. Would've also meant next week whatever score they'd beat Spurs with would have to double it v Bournemouth e.g. Leeds beat Spurs 2-0 then would need a 3 goal victory at Goodison.

As you say Leeds lose today and suddenly that situation is reversed. They would then have to beat Spurs but a couple of goals themselves to have any chance.

I think we cant be any more competitive then what we have been with what we have available, Dyche has gotten 18 points from his 17 games, a great return with the quality we have available and basically a team without a Centre forward. Broke my heart yesterday watching us without a striker and full backs and our most creative players playing in the back line. I think hes done an incredible job given the context and we're fighting.

I see Leicester and Leeds getting minimum a draw each mate in this round mate - one could win, im expecting results from them. If they dont its a bonus. But i think its a big ask for both to get five points from two they have to earn five points to our 4 -, if we take care of Bourmouth and that's simply what we have to do no buts no maybes, that's our controllable - If we dont we deserve to go down. So its about nerve, focus and holding that space this week - its a special type of purgatory. Its all on Bourmouth for me. I always felt it would be first past the post to 35.

It all comes down to the last game - the big question is are we good enough, the team will be given every chance - there is no where else you would want that game to be played but Goodision it will be a bear pit.
Agreed.

But I think if Leeds fail to win today (and there's only a slim chance of Leicester getting a win at Newcastle...a draw maybe) we'll stay up.

We'll cobble together some team and formation to get those final three points and keep Leeds at bay.

This upcoming game is the whole shooting match IMO.

Was ecstatic when Mina scored. It’s a huge point in hindsight, as Leeds now must win at least once (or draw twice, and hope we lose), to stay up.

About 10 minutes later, I remembered we’d lost our centre forward, have no full backs and Leeds now have a huge reason to win today.

Feel by 3:30 we’ll know exactly where our relegation hope stands. Outside the bottom 3, and we’ve got a great chance, in it? We’re gone, and there won’t be any miracle this time.
The forest win was the real kick in the balls last night - I had them down before that

Not sure I get your workings out here, except double 2 = 3.

That Mina goal changed the whole situation.

Leeds will have to be all out for the win.

If they lose, great. GD could be crucial. And it gives us a chance to draw and stay up next week.

But even a draw places Leeds in a world of pain: they have Spurs and we have B'mouth. I still think, despite their horrendous form, that hands Leeds a bigger headache than us. Spurs attack can click and be deadly whenever they get their teeth into a game. They also have a Euro spot to aim for. B'mouth are dangerous, no doubt. But on balance Ild still easily want to play B'mouth over Spurs final day.

Pretty much how I see it. I think I’d now take having to beat Bournemouth to stay up given that forest result yesterday.
