The main results turning against us were our own from August onwards. If your strategy for staying in the league is relying on the failure of others then you reap what you sow.

This. We wrote off the first 5/6 games by literally not having an available striker on the books. The arrogance of it was ridiculous. We’d just stayed up by the skin of our teeth and effectively adopted the attitude of crossing our fingers and hoping. Everything about the club is Championship standard from the board, the manager and the players. All except the fans.
