can someone explain to me why Leeds need to win 3-0 and not 2-0 to leapfrog us on the last day (if we draw)?

Because we currently have +3 GD on them.

To be fair, it really did and could, Leeds now need to win to get above us tomorrow which is not certain despite some acting like its 100% happening, where as before our goal, Leeds would have needed only a draw to get above us

But either way a Leeds win and it was out of our control. Thankfully that's academic

Newcastle just needs a point to slam the door shut on the RS...but I suspect they'll want to do it in style in front of the home support.

That all said, Newcastle have to win tomorrow to make me feel like we have a good chance. Bournemouth always do us, we won't have a striker and we may be vulnerable at the back.

If Leicester get a point tomorrow I think there is a good chance that they could beat West Ham on final day and then we'd need to win to stay up.
