Yeah looking at the standings now in the cold aftermath of the Leeds defeat I actually think we are in no stronger a position than we were this morning.

West ham may have been influenced by the home crowd to put on a performance today but no such guarantees as the away team next weekend

We are still bang in trouble and on a knife edge

Of course we are you flute. This morning Leeds could have won and gone 2pts above us.

It isn’t a huge underdog or a pretty big underdog. West Ham are 7/5 favourites, Leeds are 9/5, so the bookies make West Ham as slender favourites. If West Ham play their B team as expected that will probably change in the hour before kick off.

They were never going to play their B team, and even if they did, were always going to be miles too good for Leeds, who are rubbish.

Leeds have thrown the towel in, and will get annihilated again next week.

Letting Schmeichel go without adequate replacement was malpractice of the highest order. Leaking that many goals puts any club at risk of the drop.

They've been conceding ten more goals than the last season for three seasons running, so what happened to them probably shouldn't have been the shock it was.
Yet the sod was the MOTM v us at Leicester saved them from defeat - doh

We are obviously in a stronger position. A direct rival had the opportunity to leapfrog us heading into the final game, and they lost. How is that not a good thing for us.

If Leicester drop points tomorrow, this is still in our hands. If Newcastle win, then we need a draw. Today was a good day, but we need tomorrow to be a good day too.
