Interesting article. This is a very telling quote:

Allardyce was downbeat about his side’s hopes of beating Spurs. “It depends on the injuries that we have to Rodrigo and Patrick Bamford,” he said. “Who am I going to play up front if those two are missing? We might have to choose to play a completely different system with the players we’ve got available to create an opportunity to win a game. Certainly from a defensive point of view, we have to work to keep Harry Kane and Son quiet.”

That says to me he has no interest in chasing a 3-0 and is hoping a scrawpy 1-0 will be enough and that we lose at Goodison.
Maybe he’s planning some kind of genius rope a dope. Make everyone think they’re imploding before gloriously thrashing Spurs

Says to me has given up, particularly the bit about the subs being poor.

He may have to play those subs against Spurs.

Seen a few reds on social media suddenly questioning our big win at Brighton. They're saying it needs investigating as it has a 'Hans Segers' feel about it apparently. Their words, not mine.
Shouldn’t they be busy organising their big Everton Relegation Shindig down the Pier Head. Hope they don’t have it near any walls

While a lot has been said about the point we got yesterday, the defeat we very nearly came away with would have led to Allardyce setting up for the bore draw in London today - and I'd have fancied him to get it. But as they had to go for the win, they came up well short. Not sure they'll do much against Spuds now, given his words about his own players.

Exactly. It wasn't what we wanted but it was still a big point. In this position your rivals need to better your results and that point gave them one result rather than two to do so.

Lob is waiting for the Allardyce cheerleaders to come out of their hiding places and tell us just how boss he is again. What was it?

Leeds are boss and will win all 4 of their final games now that Big Sam the firefighter has arrived!
Leeds were unlucky but will win all 3 of their final games comfortably now Big Sam has had time to settle!
Leeds were unlucky but still the favourites to stay up and will win both of their final games easily!
Big Sam who still hasn't won a game but who could easily do the treble if he was in charge of City shows his true self after failing to win yet again and throws all of his players under his bus thus destroying any hope they had of even getting any points in the final game.

What? When? WTF, Where have you all gone Alardyces dozen?

I mean, why would he? His squad is naff. He just needs to win.
