We've lost one of seven home games that we've played against Bournemouth.

Whilst a good stat, I don't really care much for previous seasons results with different squads, managers and situations.

This season, with this squad, they've whopped us twice. And they have better players now.

I'm hoping for one of those scores where the teleprompter needs to put it in words because its so unbelievable, such as: Newcastle 11 (eleven) Leicester 0.

not too much to ask really

For it to be beneficial for us, which is why I’m not bothered, Newcastle (or west ham) need to win by 9 (nine) clear goals.

That way we could afford to lose, and Leicester to win each by a single goal.

I’ll take a 4-0, and hedge my bets

To be honest, if Leicester don’t win tonight, we still have it in our hands that if we beat Bournemouth we stay up. How the table looked prior to the Brighton game, I would have snapped your hand off for that. In the event of a Leicester defeat tonight, we might only need a draw on Saturday. Let’s face it, if we can’t manage that we don’t deserve to stay up.

All things being equal Newcastle should stroll tonight. Next week will be the question mark. Bournemouth seem to have their way with us this season. Leeds will be a tough opponent for Spurs. That will be my biggest worry.
It’s Leicester I’d be more worried about at home to West Ham than leeds v spurs irrespective of tonight’s score

Maybe but we still have no striker and no fullbacks.

…I watched Bournemouth at home to Brighton (It was when I posted we might actually have a chance away to Brighton). Bournemouth carry threat but they try and play from the back without much quality, Doucoure could be key.

I think we’ll set up to be tight and I’d hope we can score 2 goals. Play 3 CBs and we will be a threat at set pieces.

Leicester losing tonight would be a huge bonus.

Our fans are without a shadow of a doubt the most fatalistic in the world. Imagine if we were in Leicester’s position and about to play Newcastle away. Would ANYONE on here, and I mean one single person, be giving us a chance of winning or staying up? Let along actually believing that we would do it?

If Leicester do indeed lose tonight focus will soon shift to the fact we have no full backs or strikers and Bournemouth beat us 7-1 on aggregate under the worst manager of all time.

At least by tonight we know where we stand.

At worse, I'm expecting a draw for Leicester, so we should go into that final game having our fate in our own hands.

B'mouth are better than us, of course, and we'll be cobbling a team together. It wont be easy at all. If Leicester lose tonight, though, it at least hands us the chance of not having to beat a better team than us, we can just draw.

Overall: I think Leeds and Leicester have some talented players but they are worse teams than us with weaker characters. If that counts for anything.

I honestly dont think Everton, Leicester or Newcastle are capable of winning another game. Although we look more hungry and are fighting more we dont look like a team that will get another win. For that reason, we just need to see Leicester draw or defeated tonight and I dont think we'll have to get another point.
Haha well hopefully Newcastle are m8

We just need a win, simple as...
( aslong as Leicester don't win tomorrow that is )

They could at least show us some respect and take it out the hands of anyone else, so we aren't stuck looking at other scores for 90mins for a change !!!
This 🙏

We literally had a different manager though.

But as unlikely as it seems, they put four past Villa at their place. They are grossly underperforming but do have some quality if their side unlike Leeds.
