Moyes is going to play his strongest team, think about it where else would you get that experience of atmosphere and feel of a knock out and all riding on one game ahead of an actual final, he will want his final players immersed in that.

if moyes plays his strongest and tottenham do, it’s one of games. i’m more worried we won’t win for ourselves we’ve been lucky to many times

If we lose on Sunday against Bournemouth (a team that has beaten us by three clear goals on TWO occasions this season) and Leicester OR Leeds then win our club is gone.

Never have we been so close to the abyss.

All we as fans can do is get behind our players vociferously and passionately, just as we did when we played Chelsea at Goodison last season when we were 5 points adrift.
Actually even if we draw we're gone if Leicester win.

On goal difference.

This Bournemouth game is the most important in our club's history.

The time to worry about West Ham was Sunday.

They have a week's rest now and the europa final is still 10 days or so away so makes no sense to rest half the team suddenly when they could've done it v Leeds but didn't.

They'll be competitive. Only issue is if Leicester score in first 10 minutes as they're not as good getting back into games when behind away from home as they are at Olympic stadium.
Moyes isn't an idiot. He knows those 'A-team players' he rested need a compettive game before the final...and he wont want to sign off on a defeat going into it.

Basically my message is: "being ahead by 2 points going into the final game is a good thing".

Correct.

If I was Moyes I'd want the winning feeling to carry on.

They will be right up for this.

We need to forget about the other teams now, none of it matters. We have to approach the game with the mindset that a win is the only acceptable outcome and the Manager has to somehow come up with a plan that will work and get the players motivated and in the right mindset to get out there on the field, win the game and save the club from catastrophe. It is what he was brought in for and he has to deliver. There is no more room for playing it safe, a draw might do and all that bollox, get out there and save the club regardless of the fans.

He'd be an absolute idiot to play his strongest team, Imagine Declan Rice does his hamstring. West Ham have no need to go full tilt. Leeds will beat Spurs I have no doubt and I fancy Leicester too. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if we all finished on 34 PTS....
