Just catching up as currently on holiday abroad. Disappointing result that. Feels like a bit of a coin flip now although granted the other two teams would want our position. Looking at the stats it did not appear like a return to form from Leicester. There is a chance that neither Leeds or Leicester win and we survive. I think that is more likely then we save ourselves

we’ve relied on others mate to much

i can’t see that being the case sunday

Mina's goal massively impacted on Leeds and they imploded as the game went on (they'd have certainly played in similar manner to what Leicester did if they just needed a draw to get to 17th before final day).

I don't think it really changes much with Leicester though, just need to equal their result on final day although would prefer not to lose if they lose as that would really let in Leeds.

Bournemouth have a few injuries, Billing didn't feature v Man. United and they had a reasonably untested backline out compared to what they've been putting out all season so I think that's the big unknown, what sort of 11 will Gary O'Neil select.
See, I think the two point gap now does exactly to Leicester on Sunday what it did to Leeds, it forces them to open up as the draw is useless.

They are hopeless at the back and got a clean sheet last night through putting everyone behind the ball for 85 minutes, and even then it took sheer luck.

Mina’s goal means there’s no choice but to open up and when they do that they are there for the taking.

….as a bloke who enjoys a bet, that would be winnings I would never want. I’d feel as though I supported our relegation, it’s definitely not for me backing against my own team.

It would at least be a bit of a financial reward for all the garbage we have had to endure this season.

The escape route is clear now - win. I think we would have had to play for a win anyway on Sunday even if Leicester lost last night, it's too risky to think about or play for draws. I'm reasonably confident we can win on Sunday especially with Mina at the back and it is no way a given that both Leicester and Leeds will win. We need to pull out the greatest hits album, do a 'Wimbledon' on the team bus, fireworks outside the hotel, flares greeting team bus etc etc. My missus bought us tickets for an outdoor festival months ago in the middle of nowhere and I just said yes without thinking...festival is on Sunday ffs, there's no way I'm going to enjoy myself there is there.
This would be an insane approach to a team that is on the beach. Absolute madness to provoke a side that has no need for the points into one determined to stuff us. I pray nobody tries any of this crap.

It's simple enough really: we are two points ahead of two terrible teams that's forgot how to win and we play a team in 15th in the league, at home, with nothing to play for...and if we dont win we can still survive.

That's about as good as it was going to get after this round of games.
