I think they setup to be hard to beat/stay in the game. They wanted to be in the game come the hour mark when they hoped to nick a goal. They couldn't get hold of the ball to do that/their attempts to counter were jumped on.

What surprised me though was their time wasting - not sure what that was all about. Apparently Dean Smith was going bonkers at their keeper for taking ages late on - miscommunication maybe.

So I think they intended to go for a win late on, but couldn't get a kick and went into their shells/time wasting.
Yep.

The sky analysis underlined that Newcastle were very savvy in bringing Leicester players down if they lost the ball high up the pitch.

Still, all in all, it was a pathetic attempt by Leicester to do a rope a dope.

If it does come to the worst, it'll be one big step in to the dark. We'll literally be playing in a different competition, away from the warm, comforting sanctuary of the Premier League.

I wouldn't even know what to expect in this so-called 'The Championship'. Like, who would we even be playing? Doncaster Belles? San Jose Fire? Queen of the 'kin South? What are the grounds like? I imagine some will be akin to Mad Max-style blunder domes, not to mention the backwater small towns that these matches would be hosted in.

I reckon this is what awaits us (well, you. I'm a Premier League quality person, I won't be fraternising with lower-league filth):

This all is doing my head in

Hope everyone is ok

Sunday is going to feel like an eternity leading up to 4.30pm...

Since the end of that Newcastle-Leicester game the nerves left me.

I'm ok going into this game because we are in a far better position than I ever expected to be for most of the last 5 weeks or so.

Two points ahead of two appalling teams with a game at home against a better team than ours but a non-elite team nevertheless.

I'll be anxious when the game comes round on Sunday, but not before then.

If we do stay up then I'm straight out of the ground at the full time whistle

No celebrating, no nothing
That's the attitude. Can't be giving the club any more ammunition to cover up one of the worst seasons in our history as a success story.

I get there will be joy, but straight out the door and no turning back. Players and board given us yet another year of misery.

Just heard someone say on TalkSport the most pressure is on Everton because we HAVE to win.

No mention of the fact that, even if we don't win, a draw is no good to Leeds or Leicester.

We're actually the only team out of the 3 who could stay up without winning.
The story is about Everton. We're the big boys. Leeds and Leicester are 2nd rate. You know they're favourites to go because if we were, there would be pages and pages worth of story and articles about our demise from the media.

Just win Everton.
