Remember my Dad consoling me as a kid at half time vs Wimbledon. Telling me don't worry son we will come straight back up. Don't think he believed we would pull off a miracle that day.

Glad my little ones too young to understand.
Only been following Everton for about 9 years now but as an American, I can remember those days of my favorite American Football team getting absolutely blown out in a game they were heavy favorites to win, so much that my family had bought tickets to what would be equivalent to a cup final. I was 7 years old and cried my eyes out. So now I'm older and find myself supporting Everton FC with a son of my own due in 8 weeks. I really hope we can stay up. Come on Everton!!

It's just the reality of the situation.

We start out today at about 70% to survive.

That can change in-game, for sure.

But you're not seriously telimng me you'd rather start off in Leicester or Leeds' shoes are you?

It’s often easier doing the chasing than being chased, psychologically. That is why many teams leading in title races end up losing. Look at Dortmund. Couldn’t handle the pressure.

There is pressure on Leicester but the expectation is still that they will go down. It is the same with Leeds.

The TV cameras will love an Everton slip up and all the build up will be about that. This final day is not a spectacle if we are 2-0 up after 20 minutes.

Of all the six teams involved in the Everton, Leeds and Leicester games, I just hope that Leicester don’t score first. That news filtering through to Goodison would not help our cause.

I just hope either us or West Ham score first, just to settle the nerves a little.

The closer it’s got to the game, the more I am cautiously optimistic about West Ham’s chances against Leicester.

Moyes’ comments about finishing above Chelsea and keeping the winning momentum going sounded like a man not interested in playing the kids to see out the fixtures. That is not an easy fixture at all for Leicester.

This. Inject this right into my bellend please

I haven't noticed Leeds or Leicester making much progress chasing Everton down since that Brighton result.
