There’s defintately an issue with people’s brain power these days. A lot of people thinking that we constantly ‘circle the drain’ but we have had three extremely close escapes (excluding Today) in 30 odd years of PL footy. We have had a few years finishing around fifteenth and some around mid table, but the way people talk (and they were like this in TalkSport today with Barry Glendennin) we’ve been escaping for years. It’s like people have had a lobotomy.

The average person is an idiot.

Absolutely, as you say there’s a massive difference between fighting relegation every year and just not achieving anything, but the way some of them speak you’d think we were perennial relegation candidates.
