That freak 1-5 win at Brighton was what ultimately kept us up. That really should've been a defeat on paper. Not even a draw would've been good enough. How we pulled out that performance and scoreline for that game was a crazy one-off, as though it was meant to be.
I thought our lack of capability to edge the away games vs Forest and Leicester would be our downfall.
The Brighton game bailed us out of that, what a performance.

Our squad is desperately unbalanced and we have sold £100million of attacking talent this season. Plus we have been managed by a desperately poor manager in Frank, albeit he's a lovely man.

But I can't fault the effort of our players.

More seasons in the top-flight than any other club and more still to come! And a brilliant stadium on the world famous Liverpool waterfront is imminent, courtesy of Mr Moshiri.

We fans got us over the line today. One of the Bournemouth defenders said they found it intimidating and that we were the 12th man. Let's do that every game next season.

WHAT A CLEVER SELECTION FROM DEAN SMITH

WHAT A CLEVER MAN

CLEVER CLEVER

To be fair he set up to still be in the game on 60mins before introducing his more attacking players and trying to nick a win and a good save from Pope aside, it would have worked.

That point could have made all the difference today if we hadn't scored.
