lol NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING REALSITIC, (caps) just the constant "we are going down" for weeks, even months SAME AS LAST YEAR!! Grow a pair and stop crying until it is over. Id hate to be in a battle with people like you, literal towel throwers.

If we go down, I will mourn for a long time, until then, I will believe and not spread utter misery in every post I can.

On the basis of the last few months, apart from Onana there isn’t another player I’d want to keep

This. Look at Burnley. Has to be some forward thinking now and it’ll mean stripping us to the bone but what other option is there now. Anyone clinging to a saviour coming in to rescue this I think needs to face reality. Bad players and a bad manager left in charge too long has screwed us big time.

Don’t forget pinning your hopes on a 1 in 5 centre forward who can’t even stay fit. We deserve everything.
 
McNeil is an abomination. To have signed him is bad enough but bringing him on when we need a foothold in the game is a sackable offence.

And where does this leave Gordon? He isn’t perfect but compared to McNeil he is a far better option.
 
Need to have one eye on planning for next year in the championship

I hate to be so defeatist but there is nothing in this team to give you any hope

We have paid the price for years of ineptitude at board level. We have no footballing identity.

We don’t have the scouting network to recruitment high potential talent, the youth system to produce our own or the money to buy and pay the big stars. As a result we have recruited far to many players who have failed at other clubs and are over paying these players.

We need gutting from top to bottom. We will be in the championship for a few years I reckon
