I am certain now that DoF model doesn’t work for us. We’re on our third and now and none have been successful.

Don't think any have been allowed to operate without interference tbh. Walsh was the worst of the lot though, wasted a ton of money at the start which hamstrung everyone after. That window with massive outlays on multiple #10s was a disaster

I'd say financially. Sold our best player in richy for 60m and only brought in dross like mcneil and maupay on low price deals (that the selling clubs were happy to allow us low upfront cost payment plans). No incomings so far this window and likely only loans if so. Lampard's replacement is set up for failure at well without signings
