Still think we'll drop thanks to that useless tory who was hell bent on trying to relegate us.

Utd have no Casemeiro against Leeds - soon as he was sent off they looked awful in midfield - I wouldn't expect 2 wins for Utd Leeds will take something from one of those games imo.

As others have mentioned we need to keep Bambi fit as the system relies on a target man.
They'll have too much for that Leeds defence.

If there is one unexpected team that might get dragged in it could be Palace. Would have to go on a terrible run for the remainder of the season mind
There is always one palace and Forest both on 24 points can easily be pulled back in. I would say Villa are too far ahead but last year at the same stage Southampton was on 29 points or something. They went on a terrible run only just finished above us.

Left it too late getting rid. If we go there’ll be a multitude of reasons why, but keeping Lampard in charge after the Bournemouth debacles will be the major one. Horrendous decision.

Our narrative is a comfortably simple one: "stay in it to win it", energy levels high, get at teams by pressing them, get the ball in the opposition box as many times as we can..... x17.

We need that consistency of performance, and if we get anything near it without the components falling apart we'll stand a more than reasonable chance of surviving.

Yeah we left it too late but not like we are cut adrift. We keep winning football matches we will be fine. We don’t we go down. am not looking what happened before. It’s about now under Dyche big run of games coming up after the derby. that will decide what league we play in next season.

They're only 6 ahead of us, that could be clawed back in two games. They're also in the thick of it imo.
6 points is a lot when you’re at the bottom end of the table though, it’s a third of the points we’ve accumulated so far this season and that includes yesterdays win.

We just need to concentrate on ourselves and hope we can outperform a few of the teams down there.

Good start yesterday, but still lots to be done.

Loads of games left, no one is down or safe all the way up to Palace.

Any team in that bottom 6 or 7 is capable of losing a lot of games in a row at any point. Teams will drop like a stone into trouble.

Our win will have been an absolute hammer blow to teams around us. We just need to keep grinding out points, even if they’re draws, because teams around us will lose lots of games.

This all day.

The league is really a collection of quite bad teams with a couple who are decent - we don’t need much to get comfortably mid table.

Get us organised and working hard (as yesterday proved) and we will pick up points, but there’s the rub. I’m trust Dyche to do his part but I can’t trust these players to do the same - they have thrown 7 managers under the bus, as a collective. They can’t go missing anymore, but I don’t think Dyche will let them. I doubt they will be getting picked every week if they don’t perform.

Ended the week up a place. Started 2 points from safety, ended only in the bottom 3 on goal difference. Gained 2 points on West Ham, gained 3 on Leeds . Got within a win of 14th. And hopefully gained some confidence too.

Now back it up next week and every other week going forward. We need to set consistent levels of performance amd intensity to give ourselves as many chances as possible at getting points. Its no good to perform like that against the leaders but then go straight back into another slump.

Just need to pick up points in every game, or play to that end.

Newcastle have the least wins in the top 6 but have drawn 10 games! Those draws could be the difference as we know, if we`d have a point v Wolves and Southampton it looks different....
