Today would've just been another bonus point for Leeds. They were full of huff and puff but from what I saw they really didn't create much, best chance was Summerville hitting it straight at De Gea.

I'd disagree with their CMs being rubbish, Adams and McKennie are experienced and pretty physical so that will be interesting battle next week.

They will surely appoint someone this week and their brief will be not to lose at Goodison and then get some wins out of Forest, Palace,Leicester, Southampton and West Ham and Bournemouth away.

Leeds had 16 shots, and more on target than Man U did. If you actually watched the match you'd see Man U struggled to handle them for much of it, and like recent results they have played well but find ways to lose or fold at the end of matches. Their strength is they will come at you, and will get their chances, and that makes them dangerous to write off like many on here. But their weaknesses are very big obviously, and thats at GK and CB which they just seem to be ready to give up goals, and a do-nothing CF. Also, I just dont think their back 4 has the technical ability to play how they want to which means they may give up easy chances.

Beating them will be huge, and Id love to think it will be easy, but I think a lot of people are acting delusional here just to try and get internet points. The hope is if we beat them as well, they may feel they have played well for 5 or so matches with NO results and quit on the season.

You'd got to move the ball across the pitch quickly v them, that's the key as space will quickly open up. Villa a few weeks back were second best but they scored the two goals from transitions across the pitch.

It will actually be an interesting test for Dyche ball as this would probably be a good game to start Gray. Just punting long balls up to DCL and relying on set pieces could work but feels like that is what they'll want.

His Burnley side didn't have that great a record v Leeds but of course that was v Bielsa.

Overall a good weekend. Our rivals are clearly Leeds, Forest, Saints and Bournemouth and all dropped points.

Even a loss tomorrow isn't the end of the world providing we get 3 points against Leeds which I fully expect.

Rest Dominic Calvert-Lewin tomorrow, set up for a point and beat Leeds.

You can probably add Palace to that too who could also only get a draw.

The most important game in our position should always be the next one; especially when it's the derby. I just feel like there's an element of 'Oh well, I always expect us to lose at Anfield' attitude about it.
Not what I wrote though was it.
Irrelevant of what happens tomorrow for me Leeds is a more important game.
Win tomorrow and lose to Leeds means we stay behind them. Its all about survival now.

Yes, a result tomorrow is a bonus and not a requirement.
Just a case of another “performance” needed to keep the standards and effort up. If their defence and midfield plays like they have the last few weeks, we’ll get points. If they get a reaction, which they might do, we won’t. Either way we won’t be coming out of this game week rock bottom and a billion points from safety, which was the forecast.

It’ll be interesting now to see who they appoint and whether they look to change their slightly cavalier style for the run in. They are pretty far down the list of managers and the favourites now being the guy Ajax just punted into the Sun or Stevie G doesn’t seem particularly inspiring.

Because the cowards that play in blue have played well at Anfield about twice in two decades, you can’t really blame the fans for thinking like that.

Honestly, if we were top and they were bottom, I wouldn’t fancy us to get a result there, we never turn up.
