So many people just ready to give up the fight before its over, plenty of doom and gloom about. That result was a good one today, considering forests home form and our away form.

Nobody is taking in to account the 2md half of the table is full of teams all struggling for form.

I think some people are expecting Southampton, Bournemouth, Leeds and West Ham all to go on a 6 game winning streak.

Not at all. Forest will not lose to Spurs. Leicester won’t lose to that garbage Chelsea side. Southampton could easily get something at West Ham, I wouldn’t rule out Wolves or Leeds wins either.

Should was the wrong word. I meant how we need those matches to go.

They only need to win 1 each to overtake us or be well clear of us.

This. I’m not sure what some people were expecting Dyche to be able to do. We’re much more organised now and have picked up 2 wins and a draw in 6 games. We were in utter free fall under Lampard. Dyche has built some solid foundations in not much time.

He's on 4 points from the last 5 games. That's really not great. Today would have transformed things: he'd have had a 50% win record in six games. But he couldn't see it through. Small sample size and small margins, but we have zero margin any more thanks to Frank.

Forest beat Liverpool at home and drew with City so we really should put aside all this ‘we had to be beating Forest’ talk

The way the gane went its 2 points dropped. They didn't play well and we had opportunities to show composure and conviction at 2-1 to kill the game.

Basic mistakes cost us a win. Whether we were favourites beforehand is irrelevant. The gane was there for the taking and we came up short through stupid mistakes yet again.

It’s just the usual crazies, who think Leeds are a Champions League elect team, Southampton and Bournemouth are never going to lose again and Danny Ings will single handidly save West Ham.

Yep i know what you mean mate. Trying to do the same myself but these last 2 seasons have brought me so much misery i have become very apathetic again. Trying not to be but you need some joy and optimism for that to change and there just isn't enough of it.

They don't need to go on any winning streak: they just need to match us and we are down. That's not a high bar for any side.

Forest unbeaten in 9 at home, yes we were ahead twice but take the point and get the win next week and take it from there.
