I’m sure we won’t keep up this top 8 level form for the rest of the season and I doubt we finish top 8 in the premier league next season but Dyche has done an incredible job so far and unlike Allardyce, who got points at the expense of playing football, Dyche has me looking forward to watching the blues again and has earned my respect and fully deserves to be in charge next season.
Deffo very unfair to compare Dyche to Allardyce

Didn’t think it was all that bad myself, but they will throw the book at him alright.
Yeah, with all the talk about abuse refs are facing at all levels of the game, they'll need to be shown to be strong on this.

What starts as a shove and getting in the face of a ref being "not that bad" in match between two Premier League sides ends with a ref getting the living crap kicked out of him in Sunday league. That'll be the worry.

The points between anyone from 12 and below are insignificant. This will be the closest relegation for years. For me, I tend to look at goal difference as it usually gives a decent indication where everyone finishes……
Same as me.

My only hope is that our goal difference would look a lot better under our current manager.

Have to say, we’ve got a bit of luck in the next few with when we’re playing them

Spurs are on a wobble and Richy is injured and you know he would’ve scored back at Goodison
United have Casemiro suspended who is probably their most effective player along with Rashford
Spurs have Mitrovic suspended who is their main threat

I felt like we kept playing teams at the wrong time this season so this is nice
I just hope nothing happens with Conte between now and the game, think he'll probably see out the season like

As well as goal difference, I look at games lost. Only Southampton have lost more games than Leicester, who have the best goal difference of the struggling clubs. Brenda could take them down with his open style of footy, reminds me of El Broguez in not compromising the style of play. I just hope we're 4 points above Bournemouth on the last day!

Mitrovich:

Dissent
Manhandling the ref
Continuing to behave in a threatening manner towards the ref after he was shown the card - his finger was right in the ref's face.

All of which means the FA will throw the book at him and give him a 5/6 game ban (4 at the absolute mimimum).
I can see them coming down very hard on him .
He was completely out of control and if the ref had not backed away as he was shouting at him I think Mitrovich could have punched him.
I reckon an 8 match ban.
I do feel sorry for the Fulham fans though , they were coasting along then in the space of a couple of minutes they were out with no way back.
Willan made a half hearted challenge to cut out a throuģh ball on the right then scrambled back trying to rectify his mistake.

Results-wise (for us and in most other games) it's been two good weekends in a row. We can't take that for granted though as teams will produce upsets in the coming month - plus there are plenty of relegation-fighting teams playing each other in consecutive games.

Throw everything at Spurs and go after a weakened United.

Can we possibly take 4 points there? I'd take 3 right now mind you.
