I mean it suits all of these teams to have Everton out of the league rather than Burnley. They're competing for top 7 spots with us (normally) not Burnley. Not surprising at all and it's why it's on us to pull our fingers out and start winning games

I don’t think any teams in this league seriously worry about the threat of Everton.

We signed our central midfielders from Man City, Barcelona, Man Utd, Arsenal and Napoli and we are being dumped out of the league by a team with Jack Cork and Josh Brownhill.

They're playing like a team that has nothing at stake. Which they don't. Just like Leicester didn't yesterday. The difference is Burnley aren't allowing Southampton to play champagne football and take the mick out of them for the entire first half and great chunks of the second like we did yesterday.

When you compare our and Burnleys remaining fixtures it's hard to make a case for us staying up.
