Tbh it’s looked worrying times for a while, then we beat UTD and recently Burnley have lost to Norwich, who knows where this will end.

We all saw Southampton rip us apart early on in Lampard's reign. We can't have any excuses. Right now we don't look capable of creating any sustained pressure against the opposition.

They're an ideal team to play at this point in the season, 39 points, missing a few of their defenders and not much attack in final third. Ward Prowse not had a central free kick to play with either yet.

If they get a goal back Burnley will get nervous but at same time could easily see them getting 3 or 4 if they get more corners as Saints aren't a very tall team at all.

Why so much panic because Burnley are beating Southampton a team that you can never know what team will turn up. Too many people with queaky bums We are still ahead for now and game in hand and could be 2 and still ahead come the derby. We have just picked up 4 points from games everyone was saying we would lose. We have some very winnable games left and enough that should see us safe. COYB!!!

I don’t think our lot have actually realized they may get relegated yet. They’re like the rich people in Titanic drinking brandy and thinking they are too good to drown.

They know. They just don't care (or the majority of them don't care anyway). What does relegation mean to them anyway? They'll either move on or continue to collect their obscenely inflated wages every week from the club.

Tbf in the film version of titanic…billy zane was one of those rich people, and through some ingenious creativity on his part he sneaked on that lifeboat and lived to fight another day…

We have time to respond but I dont know if we have the fight to do it. We need something now from these 2 games and its going to be difficult.

We need to get the same amount of points in the remaining 7 games we play then they do in there remaining 6. Nothing will be decided In a week.

The season does not end on Sunday. People saying ‘we’ll have no chance if we drop to 18th.’ For all their faults, Frank has got our charlatans to show a bit of bottle. 98th minute winner v Newcastle, 93rd minute equaliser yesterday. Our next 2 games are tough but we then hit a run of 4 fixtures we could definitely pick up positive results in.

With 5 mins to go a draw was a good result. Even with them winning tonight it would still be a 4 point gap with a game in hand.
What will be will be but i will look back on that shambolic defending as a big reason why.
