Can see Burnley winning their next 2 as well, we're really in the mud I fear
I think they’re definitely on course for a minimum of four points from next two. It is very likely we are going into the relegation zone over the next few weeks.

The week we have Brentford and Palace at Goodison, they have Spurs and Villa away, two games I would hate for us to have left on our fixtures so that is one relative positive, but who knows. We all keep looking at the fixtures but in reality we don’t know, so we are driving ourselves mad. It’s hard not to though.

They were always winning that today. It's why it was simply imperative that we beat Leicester because the chances of Burnley cutting into our points advantage was considerable considering they had two home games against a woeful Southampton side and average Wolves team whilst we have more or less a write off against Liverpool and a very difficult game against Chelsea.

If we had 6 points over Burnley, then the 3-4 points you'd expect them to get from their two games would obviously make things uncomfortable but at least we'd have a cushion.

I firmly expect us to go into the Liverpool game either level or behind Burnley now, and it's going to be a shoot out over the final few weeks.

You do have to question whether these players truly know if they're in a relegation battle sometimes. The way they started match last night against a team who'd were playing their third game in a week was dreadful.

Anyone who thinks managers are the main problem at this club must be living on another planet.

I back the manager 100% and will continue to do so.

I absolutely do not back these players, this board or this owner.

I’m talking about the fan base in general. There has been clear issues here for years yet many simply won’t have it.

Just look at the 27 campaign, loads waiting to call out any potential mishap. Never known anything like it in terms of fan bases.

I even have kopites say to me why do the fans not call out things or give abuse to people who do. Even they can see it.

We best Newcastle, next league game 2 and a bit weeks after, we beat Man Utd next league game 10 days after. We never get to carry that momentum straight over as it's always a big gap. Hopefully the point we gained last night can prove to be a big point and carry on this weekend and weeks to follow. 7 games in a month and 3 at home.?

Everyone worried about the RS winning the quad and sending us down in the process with another anfield hammering …

Maybe just maybe…twist of all twists, we scrape a nil v nil Sunday - we stay up by a point , they lose the title by a point…

The entire season vindicated.
Not a chance. Some gobsh!te from the kop could run onto the pitch, put one passed Pickford and the officials would let it stand.

Big 2 points dropped last night. Dreading going in to Sunday's game in the bottom 3.
I think last night was a good result. We screwed ourselves losing the lead against Burnley. We'd be 7 points clear now had we held on. As it stands it's a 50/50 between us and Burnley. I still think a draw and 2 more wins will be enough to keep us up ideally I'd want us to get 3 wins to pretty much gaurentee safety. Leicester, Watford, Brentford and Palace are all winnable games if we turn up and perform. Chelsea and Arsenal are tough games although we did take 4 points from them this season so there's no reason we couldnt do that again with a fully fit team

I think the best way to look at it is, game by game if we lose at the weekend and Burnley lose nothing changes just one game less. It would be a massive surprise if Burnley play like they did tonight every game.
Yes but it happens so often at this stage, a crap team goes on a great run.

I dont think a lot of them have realised yet. The comments in the media have been bizarre. Like we've had players talking about how they don't mention relegation and others talking up England call ups.

I think there is a bit of delusion in the dressing room.
