Funnily enough, just been chatting to a Burnley fan who has bought a season ticket for next season as he thought they would be in the championship. Said he’s sick of the PL and what’s the point in being in it.

My accountant is also a Huddersfield fan, said exactly the same and would rather they didn’t go up.

My biggest worry isn't Burnley or Leeds, it is Everton tbh. I am not confident at all that we can win another game. Even when we get it right and put a decent performance in everything is going against us i.e injuries, bad luck on the field, poor ref decisions.

Really need for our luck to change asap if we are stay in the PL.

That is bang on, I see some saying if Leeds lose this game or Burnley lose that game then we can catch and pass them, yes very true IF you win your games.

You are in the bottom 3 for a reason just like my Leeds are in the bottom 6 because we're just a bit sh!t, not biased VAR or refs taking a back hander, the simple answer is our collective football this season isn't up to scratch.

Stop worrying about other teams, trust me I know what it feels like you feel sick as a dog anyway and then add the miserable feelings when Leeds or Burnley get a result and you feel worse.

I'm still uncomfortable in Leeds and the position we are in but what will be will be, and as long and friends and family are well you have a roof over your head and food in your belly it really doesn't matter in the long run.

We've had a fair bit of luck with deflections and pens v Burnley. Be nice if we could score a non-spawny/pen goal for once. We are just not clinical enough.

There's been no passion/fight in many of the players and management. This has been very evident since a certain DF was shoved sideways/demoted. Are the players being played in their correct positions?. Have the selected players been up for the scrap?

The ONLY plus side I could see to being relegated is the forced fire sale, if we keep most of this squad despite going down we’ve learnt nothing.

Not 1 of these players would be missed if they were sold.
You could easily replace the job any of our players are doing right now for about half the wages and with more output.

I agree, ironically if we stayed in the league we wouldn't t do a mass sale as would prob think be more likely to go down, relegation means we have no choice

The problem is there’s players there that we won’t be able to give away due to their ridiculous wages. I could definitely see the likes of Gomes doing a Jack Rodwell and sitting tight on his £100k a week for the next 2 years despite being frozen out of the squad. Can’t imagine he has an ounce of professional pride in him.

Seems, following their masterful performance in the recent derby, the advanced rs shock troops have been assembled and sent forth to take over GoT in what Herr Shippmann is calling a special mimicry operation - sadly they are performing worse than the Russians in Ukraine, so I don’t think the takeover will go as they planned.

Pickford, DCL and Richie will be poached. I imagine Mina and Allan will be sold too.
Delph, he who can't be named, Tosun and Kenny are all out of contract and I'm sure they'll try binning Rondon too.
I'd do all I could to get shot of Gomes, Keane and Holgate and then go from there.

I'd keep the below and then build on that.

Defence - Coleman, Patterson, Branthwaite, Godfrey, Mykolenko & Nkounkou
Midfield - Davies, Doucoure
Wingers - Gray, Gordon, Townsend and Dobbin
Stikers - Simms

and I say keep reluctantly. If we can bin the entire squad I would.

To be honest, if any other team had gone and spent £300m to take themselves 20 years backwards we'd be laughing our heads off and hoping they get relegated as well, so I am not surprised people are loving what's going on with us.

Its outside our hands now mate. Its almost irrelevant what we do now because the likes of Leeds and Burnley need to drop points for our games to even be relevant.

I take it “sums” at school wasn’t one of your strong points? As things stand it is very much still in our hands, especially if/when City beat Leeds on Saturday!
