The main thing is we win our game. One game at a time. We have six games left, all winnable. There are 18 points to play for. Take 9 or 10 and we will stay up. Burnley will do their thing, we must do ours. People agonising over other results are missing the point: we should be agonising over our own. It's not other results that got us into this - or will get us out. It is our results that have us in this spot of bother, and our results that can get us out. Beat Chelsea and we are doing our bit. Push has come to shove. We stand up and fight now, or we take our medicine. I am surprisingly relaxed about all of this. Part of me thinks many people will get their just desserts if we fall (the board, manager, players, even some fans). But I hope for the majority of people that we can rise to the occasion now. I'd like Lampard to survive - he strikes me as a man doing his best, even if that best is limited. But I am not sentimental. If we fail, the failures need to be purged from this club. If we stay up, we still need to burn the place to the ground and go away and dream it all up again.
