No one will definitely lose to anyone, ourselves included. Strange results happen down the bottom in May.

We need to go get a result next week and take it from there.

Leeds and Burnley fans will have looked at United Chelsea Leicester for us and predicted 4 points maximum. It’s a pointless exercise. Anyone can beat anyone at this point.

….assume Leeds and Burnley will get at least 6 points, we’ll still need to win 3 games to give us a real chance of finishing above either. We’ve given ourselves a chance but 3 wins from 5 games is the very tough ask.

Coincidence has it that I’m out of the country for a fortnight ahead of this weekend, I’ll be a bag of nerves but please make this holiday memorable for the right reasons.

Well yeah but everyone was banging on about Burnley’s fixtures being favourable and ours being horrendous before those fixtures were played too. Plenty wrote off our game against Chelsea as 0 points.

Big concern is the lack of goals currently and we clearly need to get goals in the remaining fixtures. Recent goals have been hard to come by and include penalties, big deflections and defensive errors. Could DCL save the day? Not sure be we need to pose more of an offensive threat and score more or we will struggle to get over the safety line

I have said it before. It’s the hope that kills me. The fact that we are not dead and buried means we are still in this. We still have a chance.

We are looking better as a team. Mina makes a massive difference at the back. Lampard has tweaked His tactics. He needs to find a way to get results away from home, but the performance over th3 last two have given me hope that we can.

Interesting point for me is we seemed to have found a way of playing better teams and those tactics can be employed again next week away at Leicester and Arsenal but what is going to happen when we meet Watford away and middling/poor teams at home (Brentford and Palace) when we have more possession and less opportunity to break. Will a lack of guile mean that wins turn into draws

We have missed A LOT of sitters though, should’ve had 2 more at least yesterday. Richarlison missed two open goals against Leicester. It’s a disservice to say we aren’t creating chances just because our goals have been from opposition errors.
