In fairness, we earned some of this beating Newcastle with ten men, United and Chelsea. Whilst I don’t begrudge any Everton fan slaughtering our own players (indeed I’d be at the forefront of that), the external glee from some in the media at our problems this season does rankle me and it’s been some succour at least to see their annoyance that the size of this club can still weigh in these key moments and even with poor players we can still find results against good teams that other sides just aren’t capable of.
I completely agrere mate. I'm a harsh critic of these players and Id like most of them gone in the summer. However, they turned up at Goodison against decent teams and took all 3 points. Arsenal, United, Chelsea and a resurgent Newcastle took some beatng, and although the crowd helped they still had to play well and show character.

If they can just add an away win in the next few days then I believe we're almost home and dry.

Can I just shock you? I like Steven Gerrard

I wouldn’t say Saints are safe. If we’ve learnt anything recently it’s that Burnley can find wins when they need them. Wouldn’t be long odds on them beating Villa and Newcastle.
They absolutely are safe. They’d need ALL of Burnley, Leeds and ourselves to pick up 6-9pts from the remaining games., along with them losing all theirs.

No chance.

Just want us out of that relegation zone as I’m still not 100% confident that we don’t just capitulate in our next two aways. If we win tomorrow then the momentum surely takes us out of it.

Last weeks’s win and the fans performance could be the huge turning point we were after.

If we capitulate in our next 2 aways which are tomorrow and Wednesday we definitely won't be out of the relegation zone!
