5 points adrift we were 2-5 to be relegated.
1 week later we are 12-1
Amazing turnaround.
I said last month when Burnley were 4 points away with 8 games to go that a team has never got out of it before, so a team like us to be 5 points behind with 6 games to go before Chelsea must be some kind of record (Not sure what Leicester was a few years back though but they came from nowhere)

If we do stay up after all this we really could be a club transformed: an energised fanbase that really knows the difference it makes, a young, exciting and popular management team and an owner and board that hopefully has to have awakened from complacency. Cut back the deadwood in the squad and get the right sort of players in and this could end up having been the season the club really needed to wake up.

Agree, but we will get a fairly clean slate at the end of it all. Lots more deadwood off the books, a DoF who will be trusted (surely, this time) and Moshiri will spend what he can to help Frank build his team. I think we’ll let Richy go but keep DCL, so that money plus what we can spend with a lot of wages freed up will help us put together a good team if we are smart with signings and don’t chase for overpaid “glory” signings. Even someone like Tarkowski would be a smart signing on a free if it replaces a CB who can barely get on the park (Mina).

I think our board will know where they screwed up and that we can’t have another season like this one, the fans won’t have been unheard from all of this but it will still be a massive off-season.
I'd rather sell DCL and keep Richarlison.

Would move heaven and earth to keep him

When the dust settles, and if we do manage to stay up, it will be joyous, but I for one won't forget the shithousery, the abysmal performances for 90% of the season, the bad decisions made by the board and owner's - its unforgivable.

The biggest prize we take from this is how huge our fan base is, how passionate we're and without us the club would not be. Very proud of our support these past few weeks.

We as fans still need to back the team for the next two games in the exact same way. Any complacency could still end up slapping us in the face.

Yes I'm proud of the support shown recently but what would have happened if we gave the team that level of support from the first match? I'm not pinning all the problems on the fans but in tandem we've seen how it can help us get results.
