We’ll do a Villa, we’ll meander along finishing 13th/14th for a couple of seasons while our 2/3 better plays gradually leave, then all of a sudden one year we’ll finish rock bottom with about 18 points. There’ll be no dramatic last day super duper fight for our lives, it’ll be a 0-0 draw against Southampton in April in front of 15,000 fans at Goodison that’ll confirm it.

One of the teams that nearly let me down by scoring last min yesterday lol [if others went right] but their 1st 2 goals were crackers,
I needed 1 goal in 5 sep games to win 25k with 15mins to go, including Everton [had 3-1]
 
If we keep making the same mistakes in recruitment, ie buying players too old or well past their best, then we will get relegated sooner rather than later. We buy delph and Walcott, huge mistakes in anyone's book, and we repeat the process in an even bigger mistake in rondon. Do the people running the club not realise that you have to learn from mistakes, not repeat them.

move said this for years and used Villa is the example

Lose Rico, DCL, Digne etc and replace with inferior players, sack manager after manager until we end up with the perfect storm of sh1te

Currently 1 point off 5th, 2 off 4th as it stands. We will end up between 8th and 12th like we have been the past 4 seasons.

we’ve played nobody of note, we’ve been beaten easily by Villa West Ham and Watford

We’re sleepwalking imo, we’re subtly getting worse every season while maintaining what we think is a safe mid table league position. Then, as mentioned above, one of these seasons it’ll catch us out, and we’ll find ourselves in a rut we can’t get out of. Definitely don’t think the teams down the bottom would take many of our players.

Rico and DCL are literally our only two quality players

The rest are utter drudge

The only players we can attract are the best of the lower sides like Gyilf and Keane
