Rafael is just NOT a good manager, he is stubborn, selfish, with personal vendettas (james case) or with irrational love for some players (rondon) , his SO MUCH praised "PACE" football by mutants on these forums was always a lie, a pathetic xcuse to concede every single championship team 60+% on the ball. pray for a 13-15th season if not worse. am having such a good time reading the likes of you , foreverblind and now darlin making every argument to justify rafaels incompetence .

Why would he leave his working project at Brighton for our mess? Dyche maybe, but Potter no. Dont forget we would have to pay off Rafael and pay of Brighton, it wont be happening.
I like Potter though, but he would be a fool to not hang on for a better job then ours

I'm sure this time last season or a couple of weeks later we had a tough run of fixtures starting with Chelsea and it looked like we could fall into a relegation battle. I'm pretty sure we got into the top 2 or thereabouts around Christmas. Can't see that happening this season, particularly with the injury situation. Rafael has a massive job on his hands before January. I think it's likely we will be around 15th/16th at that point and big signings will be crucial.

Only a matter of time for me, paper thin squad with only 2/3 quality players, we now have no money to improve and I’d bet my life on DCL and Rico wanting out this summer

Our run up to New Year looks horrendous and could easily see us in the bottom 5, do these players have the mental strength to dig themselves out of danger, I’d say not looking at the characters in the squad, how will they be mentally if the get hidings like yesterday from the likes of Chelsea / City / Liverpool / Spurs etc

Once the rot kicks in does this manager and squad turn it around?

The wheels also fell off at exactly this stage last season after Richardson got sent off … no points for a couple of games. … Carlo was no better
