Couldn't agree more. Can think of 3 blatant pens we didn't get where the reg should clearly have seen, let alone VAR. If that was top 6 they would have been forensically examined from every angle and eventually given. That's not to count the soft pens given against us which we never get given.

Quite possible. Gerrard said in the his presser that it wouldn't be the same side for both games. Your more likely to rest players for Burnley than City, especially if you are a horrible kopite.

Just watched the press conference... Wow, it really hit home seeing Frank more visibly agitated. How has this great club ended up like this in this position. Two games left to save our top flight status... it's so sad, and clearly so real watching Franks body language. This could really be it.

I think most Everton fans feel we have suffered some shockers this year but only a few might deny that other non-Sly six teams are in the same boat.
I am all for any team with decisions against them as bad as the Rodri one against us kicking up hell about it. If you don’t you deserve all you get.
It’s not about general bad luck, super tight offsides etc. It is about blatant misapplications of the rules in a semi-secretive manner which protects incompetence (at best) and possibly blatant bias against certain clubs to put “narratives” ahead of sporting competition.
Thats the crux for me, I think if you spoke to every fan in the league they would say they had been hard done by the Refs, even the "top 6".
