Burnley’s next four games are tough.

Brentford (A)
City (H)
Norwich (A)
West Ham (A)

All teams who have something to fight for. Easiest game being Norwich but even that’s away. Burnley traditionally rely on their home results and the only home game they’ve got happens to be City.

In the same timeframe we play at least five league games, potentially another depending on re-arranged games in hand. Our five games aren’t the easiest, but crucially we have three of them at Goodison.

For all the talk of Leeds and Brentford, it’s Burnley who are still most likely to finish 18th as it stands, and we have a very good opportunity over the next four weeks to put distance between them and us.

If Watford lose today you’d have to say they’re pretty much finished. 3 points off us with 2 less games to play (assuming nothing from Spurs) and a significantly worse goal difference.

Out of those 4 fixtures they have 2 very winnable games
